Standups in Slack
Your team's daily standup now lives where your team works. Reply to a DM, get a clean summary in your channel.
What's New
Conversational Submission in Slack
At standup time, the Kollabe bot DMs you the questions. You reply in the thread in plain English, however you'd normally talk. No forms, no buttons, no clicking through to another tab.
Plain English replies: Write naturally. The AI splits your reply into the right answers under each question
Edit in Kollabe: If anything's off, jump in and fix it
Late submissions handled: Anything that comes in after the window appends to the channel thread, so the parent post stays clean
Channel Summary Posts
Once the standup window closes, the bot posts a clean summary to your team channel. AI-generated TL;DR up top, who's blocked, who's asking for help, with each person's submission threaded underneath.
Choose your channel: Pick which channel gets the daily summary
Pick your post time: Set when the summary lands
Cross-team visibility: Drop summaries in a shared channel for PMs and design to lurk in
Setup Lives in the Standup
Open standup settings, jump to Integrations, pick a channel, flip on DM reminders, choose when to post the summary. Done.
Why It Matters
Standups break when they're a chore. People forget to open the tool, submissions trickle in late, and managers end up chasing status in DMs anyway. Moving the prompt into Slack means the standup happens in the same place your team already talks.
A few ways teams are using it:
Standups without the meeting. Engineers reply async during their morning coffee. Managers scan the channel post for blockers without scheduling anything.
Distributed teams. The DM lands at the standup's configured time. Nobody gets pinged at 6am because someone forgot to think about their timezone.
Cross-team visibility. Drop the summary in a #standups-engineering channel that PMs and design lurk in. They get context without joining the meeting.
One More Thing: Claude + Your Standups
Every Kollabe standup is also available through MCP, so you can hand Claude a question and get an answer that pulls from your whole team's updates:
"What did the platform team ship last week?"
"Has anyone mentioned the data migration in the last 14 days? Who's still blocked?"
"Grab this month's standup summaries and give me a release-notes draft."
"What's everyone working on today across all my teams?"
Slack gets the daily pulse into a channel where the team already lives. Claude lets you zoom out: weekly recaps, monthly retrospectives, patterns across teams you don't sit on.
Microsoft Teams is next. Same conversational submission, same channel summaries.
Available now for all Kollabe Premium and Enterprise users. Stop chasing status updates.
