Present Your Standups Live

Two new ways to put a single update front and center: present to your whole team in sync, or quietly focus on one update at a time for yourself. It's the same board you already post to, with no meeting link and no screen share.

What's New

Presentation Mode

Admins and standup creators get a Present to the team button in the standup header. Start presenting and whatever update you're looking at fills every follower's screen in real time. You drive, the team follows. Click any card to put it up, step through submissions one at a time, and the whole room moves with you. When a presentation goes live, everyone gets a quick prompt to join with an auto-follow countdown, and a green frame around the screen makes it obvious you're in a live session.

See Who's Actually Looking

While you present, a "who's following" group shows you exactly who's in the room, so there's no more wondering whether people are paying attention or quietly reading email. Followers can fire off emoji that float across everyone's screen too, so a good update gets a live round of applause.

Focus Mode

Don't want an audience? Anyone can hover over a submission or poll, open it full screen, and arrow through the board at their own pace. It's completely private, nothing gets broadcast, and the comments panel follows you as you move. Perfect for a solo catch-up on yesterday's updates, or for reading along at full fidelity while a teammate screen shares.

Polls Included

Polls sit at the top of your board, and they're now first-class in both modes. Present a poll full screen just like a submission, so you can open with "here's today's poll" before walking through the individual updates. Comments and reactions work on polls exactly the way they do on submissions.

Why It Matters

Live standups lost something when teams went remote. Screen-sharing a board over a call is lossy and one-directional: everyone squints at a compressed video of someone else's screen, and you've got no idea who's actually following along.

This brings the walk-the-board ritual back without leaving the product. Everyone reads the real update on their own screen, with their own dark mode, their own zoom, and clickable links. You can see who's watching. The team reacts as they read. And it all runs on the same async board people already post to, so nothing gets duplicated or exported.

Available now for all Kollabe users. Open any standup, hit present, and walk your team through the day.
