Link Similar Items in Planning Poker

See how your team has estimated similar work in the past, right from the planning poker session. When voting on a ticket, open its details and check the new Similar tab to find previously estimated items from your space that closely match the current one.

What's New

Similar Items Tab Open any ticket during a planning poker session and you'll see a new Similar tab alongside Comments. This surfaces previously voted-on items from your space that are similar to the current ticket, showing the estimate, when it was voted on, and which meeting it came from.

Context That Actually Helps

• Match scoring: Each similar item shows a match percentage so your team can see how closely it relates to the current ticket

• Full item details: View the original description, estimate, and meeting context without leaving your session

• Integration deep links: If you have Jira, Linear, GitHub, or Azure DevOps connected, open the original item directly in your integration to see the actual work associated with it

• Improves over time: The more you use planning poker in Kollabe, the better and more relevant your similar items become

Why It Matters

Planning poker works best when your team talks about why something gets a certain estimate, not just what number to assign. But that context from previous sessions usually disappears once the meeting ends. Teams end up re-estimating similar work without any reference to what happened last time or whether the original estimate held up.

With similar items, your team gets that context back. See that a nearly identical ticket was estimated as a 5 three months ago, open it in Jira to check how the actual work played out, and use that to drive a better conversation this time around. It closes the loop between estimation and reality, helping your team learn from previous mistakes and build on what worked.
