Auto-advance your retro when everyone's ready

Stop manually clicking through workflow steps. Kollabe retrospectives can now advance themselves when every participant marks ready, keeping your team in sync without the facilitator bottleneck.

What's New

Advance when all ready

A new auto action in your retrospective workflow. Turn it on for any step, and once every online participant toggles their ready status, the retro automatically moves to the next step.

Redesigned Auto Actions

The Auto Actions setting also got a refresh. Each option now shows an icon, title, and short description so it's clear what each one does at a glance. You can also enable multiple actions per step now, so "Advance when all ready" works alongside things like "Group columns with AI" or "Generate AI report".

Set it per step

Configure it on the steps where it makes sense. Most teams want auto-advance through Reflect, Group, and Vote, but keep manual control on Discuss where the conversation needs to breathe. Your call.

Why It Matters

Facilitating a retro means watching the ready counter and clicking the next button when it hits everyone. It's a tiny thing that adds up, especially if you're also trying to participate in the conversation.

Auto-advance takes that off your plate. Your team moves through the retro at their own pace, the facilitator gets to actually facilitate, and nobody's waiting around for someone to notice it's time to move on.

Available now in the retrospective workflow editor. Open any step, scroll to Auto Actions, and toggle it on.
