Use this template after a significant project milestone or at the end of a project phase to celebrate achievements and plan refinements.

Start the retrospective by introducing the baseball theme and the column names. Make sure everyone understands the purpose of each column: Grand Slams, Foul Balls, and Play Adjustments.
Ask the team to reflect individually for 5 minutes and add their notes to the appropriate columns. Encourage everyone to contribute to each column.
Review the Grand Slams column together, celebrating wins and discussing the factors that led to these successes.
Move to the Foul Balls column. Discuss challenges and identify their root causes collaboratively.
Focus on the Play Adjustments column. Brainstorm actionable strategies to address issues and capitalize on successful approaches in the future.
Agree on clear next steps based on the suggestions in the Play Adjustments column and assign responsibilities where appropriate.
